Window on the Esopus Creek: get a first hand glimpse of Esopus Creek life with an aquarium facilitated by Hudson River Educators Mimi Bluestone and Hope Nitza.
THE WATER STORIES PROJECT presents: "What is the Creek telling us?"
A special collective community activity for kids and adults. Come share your memories, stories, wishes and dreams both past and present about the Lower Esopus Creek. These stories will be hung on a clothesline to be shared with each other, the Wind, and the Creek. We supply pencils and colors to write or draw your story Led by Jill Olesker.
7:00 Performance of Rejuvenary River Circus - a tale of a girl and her grandpa and what it means to save the river! Featuring a talking crow, gods of the Mountain and River, macro invertebrates, trout and more!
